Ronnie the Helicopter: Wings Teaches how Helicopters and Airplanes Work, Self-Esteem, and More - I am a writer and I was deeply touched by this book and the scientific focus on how helicopters (Ronnie) and airplanes (Millie) work. The friendship between Ronnie and Millie and their other friends in the hangar is educational. It explores the theme of healthy self-esteem - "why can't I do what my friend does?". Children interested in science would love this book. I ordered a few for my friends and kids. Happy reading!

Educational and Touching Story with Gorgeous Illustrations - I highly recommend this book! The story is an important lesson in self-esteem represented by the friendship between Millie and Ronnie, and explores feelings of jealousy and overcoming those feelings. David does an excellent job highlighting how all of us have unique gifts and something special to offer the world; so rather than focusing on what we lack, we should learn to appreciate what gifts and skills we have. Plus, the illustrations are just darling!

Perfect for Young Helicopter Fans - My kid is keen on anything that moves. Especially stuff in the sky. She is really interested in the nitty-gritty of how stuff works. I had no idea how a helicopter worked. But I do now! This book is fun, detailed and beautifully illustrated. Go Ronnie!

A sweet story about a helicopter who learns not everyone is the same, but everyone Is of equal value... "But now the way I work makes so much more sense to me." - Morals are so important in children's literature, from never judging someone by their popularity and appearance to embracing your individuality, something that is essential to teach children from a young age. Be yourself! You are just as significant the way you are.
